A healthy lifestyle helps keep the body and mind in shape and helps to protect ourselves from diseases and stop chronic diseases from becoming more severe. A healthy lifestyle is important because as the body ages, we start to notice changes in the muscles and joints, and a decline in physical strength.
To physically keep a healthy and disease free body:
• Practice at least 30 minutes of moderated physical activities;
• Have a balanced diet;
• Don’t smoke, and avoid smoking environments;
• Avoid alcoholic drinks in excess;
• See a doctor regularly for a health evaluation.
